Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.
- 1 Peter 5:7 -
The COVID-19 pandemic has shaken the world. God does not want His children (us) living in fear. The Bible says, “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7). We need to remember that God is bigger than the coronavirus. This is a wakeup call for all. It is also an urgent time for all of us to fervently pray for God’s help.
The Bible says, “I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11). And the Lord promises, “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know “(Jeremiah 33:3). God encourages us not to be anxious about anything but in everything to pray and God‘s peace will guard our hearts and minds (Philippians 4:6-9). Also, God’s Word says, “Cast all your care on Him for He cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7). Worry, fear and anxiety won’t change anything but prayer will. Prayer, accompanied by faith in the Lord and His promises does! Faith filled prayer is the most powerful thing we can do (Hebrews 11:6, James 1:5-8). With God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).
Never feel helpless. God can powerfully use YOU right where you are
to impact the world through your prayers! With God’s help,
we will get through this disaster.
